About

Hello! I'm Aarush, a junior at Santa Clara University pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science (with a Data Science Emphasis), a B.A. in Religious Studies, and a minor in Mathematics. I am passionate about addressing real-world issues with technology (especially AI!) and hope to make a positive impact with all of my work. With a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of computer science, I am constantly seeking opportunities to apply my knowledge and skills. Welcome to my portfolio!

RTX/Collins Aerospace | Remote

  • Developed a Python-based document translation platform leveraging AWS Bedrock, Docling, and multi-threaded processing, cutting manual workload by ~95% and clearing a $355K backlog
  • Designed an end-to-end eXplainable AI (XAI) pipeline to automate model interpretability, reducing audit time by ~40% while achieving ~96% parity with internal review benchmarks
  • Integrated Model Context Protocol (MCP) to unify API access and contextual data flow between AI agents and enterprise systems

Research Assistant: Wireless Intelligent Networks

Jun. 2025 - Present

Santa Clara University | Santa Clara, CA

  • Implementing reinforcement learning to optimize user grouping and resource allocation in semantic-aware 6G NOMA networks

Research Assistant: Mathematical Modeling

May 2025 - Present

Polymath REU (NSF-funded) | Remote

  • Developing agent-based and differential equation models of C. difficile to evaluate transmission and mitigation strategies; accepted for presentation at the 2026 Joint Mathematics Meetings (JMM) Conference

Software Engineering Intern

Jun. 2024 - Aug. 2024

SecoMind AI | San Jose, CA

  • Built and deployed a lightweight Flask-based API layer around Mistral’s LLM, enabling real-time validation of measurement inputs for downstream AI workflows and integration with internal tooling via Docker and RESTful
  • Designed and productionized core validation logic, improving input sanitation for models and reducing failure rates by ~40%
  • Developed modular Python tooling to streamline inference calls, monitor performance, and log edge cases for future fine-tuning
  • Reduced average validation latency by ~30% through targeted optimizations to request handling, response formatting, and API endpoints
